The Xiong Mao Localisation Tool is currently under review for addition to the Unity Asset Store. (This page serves only as a reference for my portfolio.)
A simple and easy tool to localize your projects to any language you want.
Create or edit your language files with in-editor tool, compatible with .json and .strings format files.
The tool components do all the work for you and the tool supports Text, UI Buttons, UI Images, and 2D Textures. (Add the Localise Object script to the object you want to localise and use the check box to select the object type.)
See the included demo scenes for an overview on creating a language selection screen. The localisation tool uses PlayerPrefs to store the selected language but this can be reset within the editor using the Tool debugging menu.
Tested in Unity 2019 and above.
